What information do we collect?

We collect the following personal information to power your Style Hubly experience:

Contact Information

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Password (encrypted)
  • Profile photo (optional)

Style Profile Data

  • Body type (Rectangle, Hourglass, Pear, Inverted Triangle, Apple, Athletic)
  • Age range
  • Skin tone and undertone
  • Face shape
  • Style preferences and vibe
  • Favorite colors

Wardrobe Data

  • Photos of clothing items uploaded by user
  • AI-detected metadata: category, color, brand, size, season, occasion

Biometric & Photo Data for AI Features

  • Face photos (for makeup generator and face try-on)
  • Body photos (for outfit generator and body try-on)
  • These photos are captured or uploaded only when you actively use the Outfit Generator, Makeup Generator, or Try-On features, and only after you grant permission via an in-app consent prompt.

Usage Data

  • Outfits created and saved
  • Outfit ratings (Like/Dislike)
  • Search history within the app
  • Features used and interaction patterns
  • Virtual try-on photos

Location Data

  • Coarse location for weather-based outfit suggestions

  • Analyze your wardrobe and detect clothing attributes via AI
  • Find similar shopping items matching your style
  • Send push notifications for outfit suggestions and reminders
  • Improve our AI models and recommendation accuracy

When and with whom do we share your data?

We share data only in these specific situations:

Service Providers

  • Stripe (payment processing) — stripe.com/privacy
  • Google (maps and location APIs) — policies.google.com
  • Google Gemini API (Google LLC) — we send your uploaded face and/or body photos to Google Gemini API solely to generate outfit recommendations, makeup previews, and virtual try-on results. This only happens after you grant explicit permission in the app. See Google's Gemini API privacy information at ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms.
  • Cloud hosting providers for secure data storage

Note: We do not send your face or body photos to any third party without your explicit, feature-specific permission requested at the time of use.

We do NOT share your data with

  • Advertisers or ad networks
  • Data brokers
  • Social media companies (unless you explicitly share)
  • Any third party for marketing purposes

Business Transfers

In the event of merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred with notice provided to you.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose data when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

Cookies & tracking technologies

Our mobile app does not use browser cookies. We use:

  • Local device storage for app preferences and wardrobe data
  • Secure session tokens for authentication
  • Analytics SDKs (anonymized) to understand app performance
  • No cross-app tracking or advertising identifiers

How long do we keep your information?

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active
  • Wardrobe photos: Until you delete them or your account
  • Try-on photos: Processed in real-time, not stored permanently
  • Face and body photos sent for AI generation (outfit/makeup/try-on): Processed in real time by Google Gemini API and not stored permanently on our servers after the result is generated.
  • Usage analytics: Anonymized after 12 months
  • Payment records: Retained as required by financial regulations
  • Crash/performance logs: Deleted after 90 days

Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Style Hubly is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at Saddamkhoso203@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly. Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Depending on your location, you have the right to:

Controls for Do-Not-Track features

Style Hubly does not respond to Do-Not-Track browser signals as we operate as a mobile application. You can control data collection by:

  • Disabling location access in iOS Settings → Style Hubly → Location
  • Disabling camera access in iOS Settings → Style Hubly → Camera
  • Turning off push notifications in iOS Settings → Notifications
  • Deleting your account to remove all data

California residents (CCPA):

  • Right to opt-out of sale (we do not sell your data)
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising rights
